Job Title: Manufacturing Manager Report to: COO Position Summary The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and direct all hands-on production operations, including machining, fabrication, assembly, and valve repair services. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, maximizing equipment uptime, and championing a culture of continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing methodologies. The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on leader who can balance daily production targets with long-term operational efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities - Lead, direct, and optimize daily operations across machining, fabrication, assembly, and valve repair workshops, including development and execution of production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery (OTD) to customers - Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and workforce scheduling to meet fluctuating demands, including oversee the specialized valve repair division, ensuring rigorous testing and safety compliance - Partner with QA/QC to ensure all final products and repaired valves meet strict industry standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASME) and customer specifications and perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for any product defects or field failures - Oversee the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program for all manufacturing equipment and minimize unplanned downtime through effective predictive and preventive maintenance scheduling - Drive a culture of continuous improvement utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban), and identify and eliminate waste (Muda) in production processes to reduce cycle times and manufacturing costs Key Requirements - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related Engineering field - Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy manufacturing or precision engineering environment, with at least 5 years in managerial or supervisory role - Direct experience in managing machining (CNC/Manual), fabrication/welding, and mechanical assembly is required. Specific in industrial valves and valves testing standards is highly preferred - Strong knowledge of metallurgy, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), and precision machining tolerances - Proficiency with ERP/MRP system for production and deep understanding of asset management and TPM frameworks - Proven track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams with excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven analytical mindset - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments - Have certification in Lean Six Sigma is highly preferred
